Sashakth Prathmik is SEF’s rural Centers of Excellence program. In partnership with the Directorate of Education, Uttarakhand, SEF works with all three key enablers that impact the life and learning of a child - Principals, Educators, and Parents to demonstrate high-quality learning inside rural Government schools. The program employs a community led model, where local community/female leaders lead interventions inside and outside schools as Sashakth Prathmik fellows. The program will nurture this cohort of skilled and compassionate Educators and Community leaders to restructure the school environment and:
  • Transform learning into a meaningful and joyful experience for children that brings SEF's student vision alive
  • Conduct workshops and coaching for Government educators
  • Provide guidance to schools to improve overall leadership, learning and culture
    • Currently, this program is active in 5 primary Government schools in a cluster of villages in Tehri Garhwal.
